Bringing together 8 teams
This year's tournament brings together 8 teams, representing districts and cities within the province. The participating players are elementary school students born in 2014 or later, meeting requirements regarding academic performance, conduct, and health. Matches are played in a 5-a-side mini-football format.

Scheduled to kick off in late May/early June 2025 in Gia Nghia City, the first U11 Football Tournament – Dak Nong Newspaper Cup 2025 promises to provide a vibrant sporting arena for young players. The tournament is organized by Dak Nong Newspaper, in coordination with the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, and with the support of the People's Committees of the districts and cities.
The tournament's funding is primarily raised through social contributions, spearheaded by the Dak Nong Newspaper. The organizing committee plans to award trophies, medals, and cash prizes to the champion, runner-up, third-place team, and the team with the best sportsmanship. Individually, the organizing committee will award symbolic trophies and cash prizes to the best player, top scorer, and best goalkeeper.

More than just a meaningful sporting event, the tournament also contributes to promoting youth football, celebrating the Party Congress at all levels, and commemorating the 100th anniversary of Vietnam's Revolutionary Press Day.
This is also an opportunity to discover and nurture young football talents, helping them improve their physical fitness and foster a spirit of sportsmanship, unity, and nobility. The U11 Football Tournament – Dak Nong Newspaper Cup will contribute to promoting the beautiful and dynamic image of Dak Nong province.
Nurturing a passion for sports.
The U11 age group is a golden period for children to get acquainted with professional football, develop physical fitness, basic skills, and tactical thinking. This is also the age when they easily absorb and cultivate discipline, teamwork, and nurture a long-lasting passion for the sport. Organizing the U11 Football Tournament – Dak Nong Newspaper Cup not only creates a beneficial playground but also holds significant importance in guiding and developing young football talents in the locality.
By participating in the tournament, young players have the opportunity to compete and gain experience against teams from other localities in the province, thereby accumulating experience, learning from each other, and gradually improving their skills. Besides developing professional skills, they also cultivate important qualities such as teamwork, perseverance, determination, and quick thinking on the field.

At this age, children's physical bodies are developing rapidly, so practicing sports, especially football, helps improve their health, flexibility, and endurance. Football not only helps them improve their physical fitness but also contributes to enhancing their concentration, tactical thinking, and fair play spirit in competition. Furthermore, through tournaments, they have the opportunity to showcase their talents to professionals, opening up opportunities for future development.
The U11 Football Tournament – Dak Nong Newspaper Cup also contributes to promoting the sports movement in schools and in the community. The tournament is a practical activity that helps children have a beneficial summer, stay away from electronic devices, increase physical activity, and socialize with their peers. It is also an opportunity for parents, teachers, and society as a whole to work together to discover and nurture young talents, creating motivation for them to pursue their passion for football in a more systematic and professional way.
With a spirit of fair play, determination, and community support, the U11 Football Tournament – Dak Nong Newspaper Cup promises to be a highly anticipated sporting event, not only delivering exciting and dramatic matches but also contributing to nurturing the football dreams of young children in the province.
