Signing of agreements to organize the Dak Nong Marathon 2025 and the U11 Football Tournament - Dak Nong Newspaper Cup.

According to the plan, the first U11 Football Tournament - Dak Nong Newspaper Cup is expected to take place in late May or early June 2025, with 8 teams from 8 districts and cities participating. The participating players are primary school students born in 2014 or later; they must meet academic, conduct, and health standards. Matches will be organized in a 5-a-side mini-football format.

Editor-in-Chief of Dak Nong Newspaper, Vu Ngoc Tu, provided further information about the two tournaments at the signing ceremony.

The Dak Nong Marathon 2025 - Conquering Southern Central Highlands is an event within the series of activities commemorating the 100th anniversary of Vietnam's Revolutionary Press Day (June 21); aiming to welcome the 13th Congress of the Dak Nong Provincial Party Committee, and leading up to the 14th National Congress of the Party.

Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Nghiem Dinh Hieu, affirmed that he will cooperate with Dak Nong Newspaper in organizing the two events.

The event contributes to promoting the image of Dak Nong's land and people; responding to the "National Movement for Physical Training Following the Example of the Great President Ho Chi Minh" among all strata of the people, contributing to improving health to serve learning, labor, production, construction and defense of the Fatherland.

The project also aims to mobilize community support to donate gifts and housing to disadvantaged households and the poor in the province, with a total estimated value of approximately 300 million VND.

Editor-in-Chief of Dak Nong Newspaper Vu Ngoc Tu and Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism Nghiem Dinh Hieu signed a plan to coordinate and organize the competition.

The tournament will feature 4,000 participants competing in distances of 2km (Kids run), 5km, 10km, 21km, and 42km. It will take place in Gia Nghia City, Dak Nong Province from May 31st to June 1st, 2025.

Currently, the Organizing Committee has opened registration for the competition on the website: https://actiup.net/vi/event/dak-nongmarathon-2025. Registration is open from February 7th to 28th, 2025.

At the signing ceremony, both sides agreed to organize the Dak Nong Marathon 2025 - Conquering Southern Central Highlands and the first Dak Nong Newspaper Cup U11 Football Tournament in 2025.

Accordingly, the two units will work together and support each other to organize the tournament. The Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism will be responsible for leading the development of the tournament regulations, providing professional support in scheduling matches, handling legal procedures, and preparing the best and most necessary facilities for the tournament.

The Dak Nong Newspaper is responsible for coordinating the legal procedures and funding for the tournament; directly contacting relevant agencies, departments, and localities to cooperate in organizing the tournament; and strengthening communication and promoting the tournament.
