Sika Vietnam attracts press, partners and visitors with solutions to support the Government in sustainable development, towards “Net Zero Carbon”.
Specifically, Sika announced specific measurable figures over 5 years of operation according to the 2018 - 2023 sustainability strategy, including saving 25,000 million liters of water thanks to SikaGrind® - a special additive line used in cement production; reducing 10% kWh per ton of cement produced; reducing 30-40% CO2 emissions compared to conventional cement thanks to fired clay technology.
Furthermore, Sika's additive solutions and information to reduce clinker by up to 50% are supported by leading construction experts.
In addition, Sika announced practical actions from global to local scale such as providing Portland cement alternatives; recycled waterproofing membranes; concrete recycling process with exclusive reCO2ver technology; reducing cement content in mortar; reducing clinker in cement production; recovering waste heat from production.
