Record scale and multinational participation
This is the opening stage in a series of 5 professional tournaments in the Pickleball D-Joy Tour 2025 system, with a total prize value of up to 1.5 billion VND, including cash, high-value gifts from sponsors and a prestigious medal system. Through the tournament, athletes have accumulated DRP points (D-JOY Ranking Points) to aim for the D-JOY Vietnam Master Final - the highest tournament in the system with a prize of up to 2 billion VND.
With more than 500 registrations, including nearly 50 international athletes from 15 countries such as the US, New Zealand, UK, France, Korea, India, the Netherlands, Australia, the Philippines, Hong Kong, etc., the tournament set a record in terms of scale and nationality for a pickleball tournament in Vietnam. More than 626 matches took place in 3 competition levels: Intermediate, Advanced, Pro, divided by age and gender. A total of 40 sets of medals were awarded for 40 competition events.
Top performances from international and Vietnamese players
The tournament saw the participation of many international players such as Megan Fudge, Sofia Sewing, Ryler DeHeart, Armaan Bhatia, Sarah Burr..., along with prominent Vietnamese representatives such as Phuc Huynh, Sophia Huynh Tran Ngoc Nhi, Do Minh Quan, Ly Hoang Nam, Trinh Linh Giang..., bringing dramatic, high-quality and emotional matches.
At the closing ceremony, the Organizing Committee honored the outstanding athletes in the Pro category: Pro Women's Singles: First prize went to Pei Chuan Kao, second prize went to Roos Van Reek, third prize went to Yu Chieh Hsieh. Pro Men's Singles: Player Ly Hoang Nam won the championship, second prize went to Phuc Huynh, third prize went to Truong Vinh Hien. Pro Mixed Doubles: First prize went to the pair Megan Fudge and Armaan Bhatia, second prize went to Sofia Sewing and Casey Diamond, third prize went to Pei Chuan Kao and Harsh Mehta. Pro Women's Doubles: First prize went to Shelby Bates and Roos Van Reek, second prize went to the pair Megan Fudge and Sofia Sewing, third prize went to the pair Pei Chuan Kao and Yu Chieh Hsieh. Pro Men's Doubles: First prize went to Casey Diamond and Ryder Delacret, second prize went to Ly Hoang Nam and Trinh Linh Giang, third prize went to Ben Causton and Louis Laville.
Previously, at the end of each competition day, the Organizing Committee awarded first, second, and third prizes corresponding to the competition formats in men's doubles, women's doubles, mixed doubles, men's singles, and women's singles to the winning athletes.

VAR technology and cross-platform communication
The tournament was broadcast live on HTV Sports , livestreamed on the Pickleball D-Joy fanpage system, and especially applied VAR technology for the first time in a professional tournament, contributing to improving transparency and ensuring fairness in situations that decide the outcome of the match. Accompanying the tournament are prestigious brands such as TTC Group, Zocker Vietnam, V.LOOP, JOOLA..., contributing to improving the quality of organization and spreading positive sportsmanship.

Closing stage 1 with success beyond expectations, Pickleball D-Joy Tour 2025 promises to continue to explode in the next stages, gradually affirming the position of Vietnamese Pickleball on the regional and international sports map.
Pickleball D-Joy Tour 2025 - Stage 1 is held at the Pickleball D-Joy South Saigon Complex , located in a prime location in District 7, Ho Chi Minh City, with an area of 20,000m² - a modern international standard competition, training and entertainment complex. Currently, D-Joy is operating a competition field system of more than 30,000m² in Thu Thiem and District 7, while developing training centers for athletes, coaches and referees, combining the construction of a systematic tournament system, covering the whole year.
