The Prime Minister's working group, led by Government Inspector General Doan Hong Phong as Permanent Deputy Head, recently worked with leaders of Vinh Phuc and Lao Cai provinces. The working session aimed to inspect and urge the settlement of long-standing complaints and denunciations, following the direction of General Secretary To Lam, the Prime Minister's decision and Plan No. 96/KH-TTCP dated March 28, 2025 of the Government Inspectorate.

Speaking at the meeting, Government Inspector General Doan Hong Phong emphasized that localities need to review and thoroughly handle prolonged complaints and denunciations before June 30, 2025. The Government Inspectorate considers this a "90-day and night campaign", mobilizing maximum forces to support localities.

Government Inspector General Doan Hong Phong said that since April 2025, the Government Inspectorate's Working Groups have worked urgently and resolutely in many localities, providing specific solutions for each case.

At the meeting, the leaders of Vinh Phuc province said that the locality has established a working group headed by the Provincial Party Secretary to closely direct complaints and denunciations.

Through close coordination with Working Group No. 1 of the Government Inspectorate, Vinh Phuc province has resolved a number of long-standing cases. For the remaining case under the supervision and supervision of the Prime Minister's Working Group, Vinh Phuc has developed a plan and proposed it to the Prime Minister's Working Group for consideration and guidance on a definitive resolution.

In Lao Cai province, according to the report, there are two cases that are under the monitoring, urging and directing of the Working Group for handling. Lao Cai province has also issued many documents, establishing a Working Group headed by the Provincial Party Secretary to handle the cases.

Lao Cai province has thoroughly instructed departments and branches to strictly follow the direction of the Central Government, strengthen the responsibility of leaders and closely monitor the situation at the grassroots level. Along with that, review, provide documents and explain the contents according to the instructions of the Government Inspectorate.

Concluding the working session, Government Inspector General Doan Hong Phong acknowledged the proactiveness and seriousness of Vinh Phuc and Lao Cai provinces, especially appreciating Lao Cai province in coordinating to resolve the long-standing complaint in the area.

For Vinh Phuc province, the Government Inspector General requested to continue to carefully review the contents, listen and dialogue with the people. The dialogue with the people must be completed before June 15, 2025, in the spirit of implementing in accordance with the provisions of the law. Then, synthesize to report to the Prime Minister.

The Government Inspector General requested the Provincial Party Committee and People's Committee of Vinh Phuc and Lao Cai provinces to continue to strengthen leadership and direction in receiving citizens, handling complaints and denunciations, especially complicated cases, to avoid prolonging them. At the same time, it is necessary to implement synchronous measures to resolve them thoroughly right at the grassroots level, not allowing "hot spots" to arise.
