Director of An Giang Provincial Police visited and presented gifts to pagodas on the occasion of Sen Don Ta festival

On the afternoon of September 20, Major General Nguyen Van Han, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee and Director of the Provincial Police Department, led a working delegation of the An Giang Provincial Police Department to visit and present gifts at Soai So Pagoda (in Tri Ton Commune) and Ca Nhung Pagoda (in Dinh Hoa Commune).

Major General Nguyen Van Han, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Director of the Provincial Police Department, presented gifts to Soai So Pagoda.

At each place visited, on behalf of the Board of Directors and officers and soldiers of the Provincial Police, Major General Nguyen Van Han kindly inquired about the health and life of the monks, nuns, and Khmer people and wished them a joyful, warm, safe and happy Sene Don Ta festival.

The Provincial Police Director highly appreciated the contributions of dignitaries and Buddhists in ensuring security and order, contributing to local socio -economic development.

At the same time, we hope that in the coming time, the relationship between dignitaries and the police force will become increasingly stronger; regularly propagate and mobilize Buddhists to well implement the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's laws, and join hands with the police force to ensure security and order in the locality.

Venerable Chau Ty (Soai So Pagoda) and Venerable Danh Dong (Ca Nhung Pagoda) thanked the Party and State, especially the Provincial Police Department and the police force for their attention to the Khmer people in the past time, and promised to continue promoting the spirit of national solidarity, strictly complying with the law, living a good life and following the religion, contributing to joining hands with the police force to do a good job of ensuring security and order, and building the homeland to be more and more prosperous.

Major General Nguyen Van Han also visited and encouraged officers and soldiers of Tri Ton Commune Police.
