Supervising the implementation of the 2025 rural and agricultural census in An Giang

On the afternoon of May 13, Supervision Team No. 7 (General Statistics Office) led by Deputy Head of the Department of Agricultural, Forestry and Fishery Statistics Dang Van Pham went to the field to supervise the implementation of the 2025 rural and agricultural census in An Giang.

The delegation supervised at Statistics Team No. 7 and worked with the Steering Committee for the General Census of Rural and Agricultural Areas in Binh Hoa Commune (Chau Thanh District)

The delegation inspected, supervised the field, and interviewed some statistical investigators about the work of collecting information from household lists at residential households.

Investigation information is entered directly by the investigator into the CAPI system software.

Accordingly, the delegation visited and supervised Statistical Team No. 7 (Chau Thanh - Thoai Son district) to grasp the situation and inspect the organization and implementation of the list of survey units in the 2025 rural and agricultural census in the locality.

Next, the delegation worked directly with the Steering Committee for the General Census of Rural and Agricultural Areas in Binh Hoa Commune (Chau Thanh District), met with 35 investigators, listened to opinions and recommendations, grasped difficulties and obstacles, and helped the locality resolve them during the process of conducting the general census. At the same time, they inspected and supervised the field, attended interviews with some investigators on the collection of household list information at some households; re-checked the information in the household list at some surveyed households...

Through monitoring, it was found that all investigators conducted interviews according to the correct procedures and subjects, and the information collected was error-free; especially through checking the households that had been listed, it was confirmed that the investigators went directly to the households to collect information.
