Hai Ba Trung District Buddhist Sangha organizes Buddha's birthday celebration, Buddhist calendar 2569

At the ceremony, delegates listened to the reading of the Vesak Message of the United Nations Secretary-General and the Buddha's Birthday Message of Buddhist calendar 2569 of the Supreme Patriarch of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha.

Speaking at the ceremony, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hai Ba Trung District Nguyen Xuan Diep, representing the people of the district, sent best wishes to the Venerable clergy, monks, nuns, and Buddhists for a happy, fulfilling Buddha's birthday filled with national solidarity.

In the past time, the District Buddhist Sangha together with the dignitaries, monks, nuns and Buddhists have strictly followed the precepts, practiced the Dharma, lived and obeyed the laws of the State. At the same time, they regularly do good deeds, contributed to the Party, the district government and the wards to take care of people's lives, supported the "For the Poor" Fund, actively propagated the Dharma to benefit living beings, propagated the right faith, contributed to maintaining security and order, and participated in supporting traditional cultural festivals in the district.

Over the years, the close and harmonious relationship between the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha of the district and the political system and people of all walks of life in the district has become a unique and beautiful tradition of the district.

Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the district Nguyen Xuan Diep hopes that monks, nuns and Buddhists in the district will continue to promote the good results achieved, further strengthen solidarity and harmony, promote the tradition of "Protecting the nation, bringing peace to the people", mobilize Buddhists and people to well implement the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's policies and laws, unite within the Fatherland Front to effectively carry out patriotic emulation movements in the locality.

At the ceremony, the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha of Hai Ba Trung district presented 50 gifts to 50 students who overcame difficulties to study well, each gift included 500,000 VND and gifts, total value 30 million VND.
