Technology is changing the way of teaching and learning, forcing teachers to constantly adapt, research and equip themselves to apply digital lectures, online classes or AI support tools. Many teachers, especially those born in the 70s and 80s, have had to learn every small operation such as creating an online learning account, making videos , designing interactive lectures or learning how to exploit AI to support lesson planning.

At An Phu Primary School (Kim Hoa Commune), recently, Ms. Nguyen Thi Hoan Thu has made familiar lessons more lively by using short videos at the beginning of class. These are fun, familiar clips that help students get excited before starting a new lesson.
Ms. Thu said: “These videos can be applied in many different subjects, helping students concentrate and learn more easily. To create a video, sometimes I have to use 3 or 4 software. In addition, my colleagues and I flexibly use Quizzi or Gemini software to create games to reinforce knowledge, apply Gama software in preparing electronic lesson plans, helping to save time and standardize presentation forms.”

Focusing on digital transformation in teaching, many schools have applied platforms such as Google Classroom, VNPT e-Learning or Microsoft Teams so that students can access lectures anytime, anywhere. Many teachers have even learned how to use AI to create multiple choice question banks, generate random test questions or suggest ways to personalize learning according to each student's ability.
Mr. Nguyen Huy Hai - a teacher at Le Van Thiem Secondary School (Thanh Sen Ward) uses artificial intelligence in a different way. He uses AI chatbots to test and review students' knowledge, creating random questions suitable for each topic. "When using chatbots, students are both interested and practice quick reflexes, while teachers can immediately grasp the level of understanding of students. From there, teachers will make appropriate adjustments" - Mr. Hai shared.

Although the application of digital transformation in teaching has created new effects and efficiency, the journey is not easy. Behind a smooth online lesson are hours of lesson preparation, video editing, data updating, and score entry on management software. Many teachers believe that, if in the past they only had to teach and grade, now teachers also have to be editors, technicians, and even media people for their lectures; moreover, the difficulty lies in the cost of purchasing copyrighted software, which makes many teachers hesitant.
Despite facing many difficulties, it is undeniable that the spirit of love for the profession and the desire for innovation are helping teachers overcome technological barriers. In many schools, technology groups have been established, through group activities, young teachers guide older colleagues to use digital tools, and together share experiences in designing modern lessons.
Teachers’ efforts to innovate and adapt in digital transformation demonstrate the spirit of self-learning and self-change. Thereby, the role of teachers is not obscured in the digital age where a touch can open up a treasure trove of knowledge. On the contrary, they are the ones who guide and guide students to choose, love and learn properly.
