Professor Ha Minh Duc will give an honorary lecture at the age of 90.

In the class of "good people" of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities - Vietnam National University, Hanoi (formerly Hanoi University of Science), Professor Ha Minh Duc stands out as an excellent researcher on literature, especially on President Ho Chi Minh and great poets of the nation.

During nearly 60 years of standing on the podium, Professor Ha Minh Duc has imparted knowledge and inspiration to thousands of students. Many of his students have become famous researchers, teachers, writers, and journalists, making important contributions to the country's culture andeducation . He not only taught but also held important management positions such as Deputy Head of the Faculty of Literature (1987-1988) and the first Head of the Faculty of Journalism and Communication (1990-2000).

During his teaching career, Professor Ha Minh Duc had many memorable memories with his students. He was the head teacher of Literature class K8 (1963-1967), where there was student Nguyen Phu Trong - who later became the General Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam .

In addition to his teaching career, Professor Ha Minh Duc has also made important contributions to the fields of literary research and journalism. He is the author of nearly 100 books, including research works on typical writers and poets such as Nam Cao, Ho Chi Minh, To Huu, Xuan Dieu... His research works are not only important reference materials for researchers, but also bridges that bring readers closer to the cultural depth of their nation.

The life of Professor Ha Minh Duc is a long journey full of dedication to education, research and Vietnamese culture. He is not only an excellent scientist, a devoted teacher but also a great personality, always putting knowledge and ethics first. On the occasion of the 90th birthday of Professor Ha Minh Duc, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities organized the event "Honorary Lecture" and the launch ceremony of the new publication "The Teacher and the Books".

The event will take place at 8:30 am on May 23 at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities. Specifically, Professor Ha Minh Duc will directly share with the "Honorary Lecture" and launch the publication in room 304, building E. The area displaying photos and publications is on the 1st floor of building E.
