On June 24, speaking during the talks, Xi Jinping affirmed that Beijing is willing to cooperate with Warsaw to adhere to the five principles of peaceful coexistence; maintaining the original aspiration of establishing diplomatic relations; cultivating traditional friendship; promoting bilateral relations to a higher level and contributing to world stability.
According to the Chinese President, relations between China and Poland have maintained steady progress since the two countries established diplomatic relations 75 years ago.
In addition, since the two sides decided to upgrade their relationship to a Comprehensive Strategic Partnership eight years ago, bilateral exchanges and cooperation in many fields have been expanded and deepened, bringing benefits to the people of both countries.
During the talks, the Chinese leader also announced his decision to implement a unilateral 15-day visa exemption policy for Polish citizens.
According to Reuters , for his part, Polish President Andrzej Duda expressed hope that China could support the search for peaceful solutions in Ukraine and that those solutions must comply with international law.
In response, the leader of Asia's largest economy affirmed that China supports all efforts to help the conflict in Ukraine end peacefully and will continue to play a role in finding a political solution to this issue.
