In this list, Ha Nam province has 2 students from Bien Hoa High School for the Gifted who are exempted from the High School Graduation Exam and given priority for direct admission to universities and colleges in 2025. They are Do Trung Kien, a 12th grader majoring in Chemistry (won second prize in Chemistry in the 2025 National Excellent Student Competition) and Le Tien Dung, a 12th grader majoring in Biology (won second prize in Biology in the 2025 National Excellent Student Competition). Notably, both of these students were selected to participate in the 2025 International and Regional Olympic Team Selection Competition.
Among them, Do Trung Kien was selected by the Vietnam Chemistry Association to be part of the team participating in the Abu Rayhan-Biruni International Chemistry Olympiad held in Uzbekistan. Currently, Do Trung Kien is participating in a training course with a delegation of Vietnamese officials and students in Hanoi and will be in Uzbekistan to attend the exam from May 28 to June 4.
