Hanoi sends thank-you letter to Thuong Tin commune for achievements in implementing the two-level government model

On the morning of August 8, on behalf of the City People's Committee, Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Truong Viet Dung and the working delegation went to Thuong Tin commune to send a letter of thanks from the City People's Committee to the Party Committee, government and people of Thuong Tin commune as well as the cadres and civil servants at the Thuong Tin Commune Public Administration Service Point.

On behalf of the city's leaders, comrade Truong Viet Dung acknowledged and commended the proactive spirit, high responsibility and initial results of the Party Committee, government and people of Thuong Tin commune after more than 1 month of operating the two-level local government model.

The letter of thanks from the Hanoi People's Committee to the Party Committee, government and people of Thuong Tin commune stated: "Implementing Resolution No. 60-NQ/TU dated April 12, 2025 of the 13th Party Central Committee on continuing to arrange administrative units and organize local governments according to the two-level model, Hanoi city has been focusing on drastically and synchronously implementing solutions to build a streamlined, effective and efficient administrative apparatus to best serve the people and businesses. In particular, the focus is on improving the quality of governance and state management right from the commune level - where the essential, daily needs of the people are directly addressed.

After more than a month of operating the two-level government model in Thuong Tin commune, there has been a clear, substantial and comprehensive change, in which the reception and settlement of online administrative procedures on the Public Service System has been implemented scientifically , creatively and in accordance with reality by the locality. The rate of settlement of online administrative procedures initially exceeded the city's assigned target, demonstrating the spirit of innovation and determination in administrative reform, contributing to shortening processing time, reducing social costs and improving the satisfaction of people and businesses.

The Hanoi People's Committee acknowledged and commended the proactive spirit, high responsibility and very encouraging initial results of the Party Committee, government and people of Thuong Tin commune. These results not only demonstrate the operational efficiency of the two-level government model but also clearly demonstrate the role and position of the grassroots level in concretizing and realizing major policies of the Central Government and the city, especially in digital transformation, administrative reform, and improving the quality of service to the people.

The City People's Committee believes that with high political determination, solidarity and responsibility, the Party Committee, government and people of Thuong Tin commune will continue to promote the achieved results, making worthy contributions to the cause of building a modern, professional administration serving the people, contributing to building a civilized, modern and cultured capital Hanoi.
