Accordingly, the size of sidewalks, median strips, and traffic organization at some intersections on 7 routes will be adjusted: Giang Vo, Lang Ha, Le Van Luong, To Huu, Hoang Dao Thuy, Hoang Minh Giam, and Khuat Duy Tien. These are all routes with extremely high traffic density and frequent congestion during rush hours.

In particular, Giang Vo, Lang Ha, Le Van Luong, To Huu routes are located on the BRT bus rapid transit route, which is a radial traffic axis. Due to the concentration of vehicles entering and leaving the central area, the traffic volume increases, especially during rush hours, causing traffic congestion.

Investing in project construction, infrastructure renovation, and urgent traffic organization at some intersections and routes to reduce traffic congestion (phase 1) will contribute to improving traffic capacity, reducing traffic congestion, creating awareness among people when using public passenger transport; contributing to promoting socio -economic development in the area where the route passes through.
