Monthly ticket price for non-priority passengers traveling on one route is 140,000 VND (currently 100,000 VND), and for inter-route tickets is 280,000 VND (currently 200,000 VND).

People with meritorious services, the elderly (60 years old and over), children under 6 years old, and poor households continue to be exempt from bus fares.

According to the Hanoi Department of Transport, since 2014, the city has not made any adjustments, so ticket prices are low compared to the average income of the people. Bus fares and travel costs account for about 10% of total income, while input factors for bus operations such as fuel prices, salaries, etc. have all increased compared to before. The cost of public transport has increased by about 50% compared to 2014.
