Monthly tickets for non-priority groups traveling on one route are 140,000 VND (currently 100,000 VND), and for inter-route tickets are 280,000 VND (currently 200,000 VND).

Meritorious people, the elderly (60 years old and above), children under 6 years old, and poor households continue to be exempted from bus fares.

According to the Hanoi Department of Transport, since 2014, the city has not adjusted fares, so fares are low compared to people's income. Bus fares and travel costs account for about 10% of total income, while input factors for bus operations such as fuel prices, salaries, etc. have all increased compared to before. The cost of public transport has increased by about 50% compared to 2014.
