That is the content stated by the Hanoi Department of Education and Training in document No. 4411/SGDĐT-CTTTHSSV dated October 23, sent to the Department of Culture and Social Affairs of wards, communes and affiliated schools regarding strengthening school security and safety.

According to the Hanoi Department of Education and Training, in recent times, work to ensure school security and safety, prevent and combat school violence, crime and social evils has been implemented and achieved positive results.

However, school violence, social evils, and law violations among students are still complicated, with increasingly diverse forms and younger age groups, negatively affecting physical and mental health and the educational environment, causing concern in society.

To overcome these limitations, the Department requires units to strictly implement measures to ensure school security and order according to the coordination regulations between the Department of Education and Training and the City Police; focus on organizing propaganda and dissemination of legal education on traffic order and safety, cultural behavior when participating in traffic, fire prevention, fire fighting and rescue; prevention and control of road violence; prevention and control of drugs and social evils; propaganda to raise awareness and skills to prevent and avoid crimes of fraud and appropriation of property through social networks; education on ethics, lifestyle, behavioral skills, awareness of compliance with the law and school regulations.

Schools need to proactively provide information via hotlines and coordinate promptly with police, local authorities and parents in handling arising incidents.

Schools need to strictly manage the use of mobile phones and broadcasting equipment in schools; promote the role of school counseling groups; regularly organize activities to educate life skills and risk response skills; regularly discuss with parents to agree on measures to manage and educate students; detect and provide early support for cases showing signs of abnormal behavior and psychology.

In addition, schools need to review and inspect all facilities, especially perennial trees, electrical systems, ponds, railings, playgrounds, etc., and promptly remedy safety risks./.
