Ha Tien is attractive with a new type of tourism.

Staff from the Ha Tien Trade and Tourism Promotion Center introduce entertainment, sightseeing, and dining options for tourists during the 2025 summer vacation.

Ha Tien is increasingly asserting its unique advantages thanks to its strategic geographical location, serving as a hub for trade and tourism connecting with neighboring communes and wards within the province, as well as with localities in the Mekong Delta and Cambodia. This factor creates a special attraction for Ha Tien ward, making it an ideal destination in the journey to explore the Southwestern region of Vietnam.

To improve service quality and create a new impression for tourists, Ha Tien ward focuses on investing in and upgrading infrastructure, expanding accommodation options, enhancing tourist attractions and check-in points, and developing more experiential tourism products. Beyond simply swimming and sightseeing, visitors to Ha Tien also have the opportunity to participate in vibrant recreational activities, especially water sports like paragliding and banana boat rides, offering a novel and exciting experience. “Previously, I came to Ha Tien to admire the scenery and enjoy seafood. This time, I enjoyed playing many water sports. I will definitely return to Ha Tien,” shared Mr. Nguyen Le Minh Phat, a resident of Vinh Long province.

With the desire to provide tourists with impressive experiences and the best service when visiting Ha Tien, Mui Nai - Ha Tien Tourism Service Joint Stock Company has invested in and innovated its products, developing a unique type of resort tourism combined with experiences. Notably, the company has put into operation beachfront bungalows, camping areas, and a system of comfortable resorts. A highlight at Mui Nai tourist area is the mountain toboggan ride conquering the 128m high Ta Pang mountain peak. The 1,250m long tube toboggan ride not only provides an exhilarating feeling but also offers stunning panoramic views of Ha Tien and Phu Quoc. “We design many diverse experiential tours suitable for all ages. During the April 30th holiday, Ms. Nguyen Thi Thu, residing in Ha Tien ward, opened her café, Ruong Café. Located next to a vast green rice field, the café is adorned with charming little scenes such as colorful conical hats and vibrant flower pots. “The space here is cool and peaceful. The gentle afternoon breeze is very pleasant. The café also has many beautiful photo spots, perfect for taking Instagram-worthy pictures, helping me relax and breathe in the fresh air,” said Ms. Cao Thi Ngoc Anh, a tourist from Thanh Hoa province.

With a history spanning over 300 years, Ha Tien has become a city possessing exceptional historical and cultural heritage. Ha Tien ward is famous for its scenic spots, often mentioned in literature, such as Thach Dong Cave, Da Dung Mountain, Mui Nai Cape, Mac Cuu Mausoleum, Dong Ho Lake, and To Chau Mountain. Alongside this, accommodation facilities, restaurants, and check-in points have been upgraded and integrated with experiential services such as cooking local dishes and taking photos in traditional costumes. Ms. Cao My An, owner of An Nhien Homestay, said: “An Nhien Homestay opened in early 2025, covering over 500 square ^meters with 7 rooms, accommodating nearly 30 guests. The homestay is built in a style close to nature, with fully equipped rooms and a spacious garden area for families to host parties. Since its opening, An Nhien Homestay has been a popular choice for vacationers.”

According to Nguyen Thi Mong Quyen, Director of the Ha Tien Trade and Tourism Promotion Center, the ward has clearly identified the need to create a distinctive highlight for this summer, not just focusing on sightseeing, but also on new tourism products. Proactive diversification of tourism products helps Ha Tien attract domestic tourists, creating a foundation for targeting the international market, especially tourists from Cambodia and Thailand. Many hotels and resorts in Ha Tien are fully booked on weekends, with a high number of tour bookings. From the beginning of the year until now, the ward's tourist destinations have attracted over 2.1 million visitors; with a significant increase during traditional festivals and the summer season. The Center continues to promote and develop tourism-connecting tours; along with continuously upgrading tourism services, entertainment activities, check-in points, and culinary experiences. This positive start to 2025 provides crucial momentum for Ha Tien's tourism industry to continue accelerating in the coming period.
