Ha Tinh: Attracting domestic and foreign tourists in the summer of 2025

At the end of the April 30-May 1 holiday, Ha Tinh tourism industry received many positive signals, continuing to affirm the attraction of local tourism to domestic and foreign tourists.

This is also the premise for the industry to be ready for a vibrant summer.

This year's holiday, Mr. Nguyen Quang Anh's family ( Hanoi ) chose to experience Ha Tinh tourism by self-driving car. Mr. Quang Anh shared that this year, the highway has been opened to Vung Ang. Traveling from Hanoi to Ha Tinh takes only about 4 hours and 30 minutes instead of 7-8 hours as before. Therefore, this year's holiday, my family chose to relax at Thien Cam beach and visit tourist attractions in Ha Tinh.

With the advantage of a long, pristine beach, fresh seafood, especially in recent years, thanks to the focus on investing in synchronous infrastructure and improving service quality, Thien Cam Beach Tourist Area (Cam Xuyen district) has been and is a destination chosen by many tourists.

Head of Thien Cam Beach Resort Management Board Pham Van Tuan said that this year, Thien Cam started the beach tourism season quite early. Along with improving service quality, the resort has also implemented extensive promotional activities. In particular, the electric car system has been put into operation, adding more experiences for tourists.

During the 5-day holiday, Thien Cam welcomed more than 100,000 visitors, an increase of 15% over the same period last year; the number of guests staying reached nearly 23,000, with room occupancy reaching 100%.

According to the provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, during the 5-day holiday (from April 30 to May 4, 2025), Ha Tinh is estimated to welcome and serve about 734,600 visitors, an increase of 10% over the same period last year; of which, international visitors reached 1,695.

On this occasion, tourist attractions in Ha Tinh have attracted many visitors to visit, experience resort, entertainment and culinary services such as Dong Loc Intersection Historical Site (Can Loc), Thien Cam Beach Tourist Area (Cam Xuyen), Xuan Thanh Beach Tourist Area (Nghi Xuan)... Many green tourism, eco-tourism and community tourism destinations in localities have also attracted a large number of visitors to visit, experience and relax such as Da Bac Eco-tourism Area (Thach Ha), Son Kim (Huong Son)...

Mr. Dang Quoc Vu, Director of the Management Board of Dong Loc T-junction Relic Site and Ly Tu Trong Memorial Site, said that during the peak tourist season, pilgrimage and gratitude month, the Management Board has built new miniatures, check-in points... to help visitors have the most meaningful and complete experiences when coming to Dong Loc T-junction.

During the April 30 - May 1, 2025 holiday, tourism activities in the whole province took place safely. Security, order, hygiene, and food safety were ensured. Tourism businesses complied with clearly posting prices and selling at the correct listed prices.

According to Ms. Vo Thi Thu Hien, Head of Tourism Management Department of Ha Tinh Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the large number of tourists visiting and staying during the recent April 30 - May 1 holiday brought many optimistic signals to the province's tourism industry. This comes from the change in mindset in tourism of businesses; at the same time, people have proactively built and promoted products and destinations...

The results achieved along with many advantages such as the continued operation of the North-South Expressway will be the driving force for businesses and individuals to increase investment in infrastructure construction as well as tourism products in the coming time./.
