Squadron 128 supports funding for new rural construction in Quang Truong commune

(Baothanhhoa.vn) - On the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the complete Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025) and towards the 70th anniversary of the founding of the heroic Vietnam People's Navy (May 7, 1955 - May 7, 2025), recently, a working delegation of Naval Division 128 led by Colonel Hoang Le Minh, Secretary of the Naval Division Party Committee, came to present some equipment to Quang Truong commune (Quang Xuong).

The delegation presented equipment to Quang Truong commune, including: televisions, portable speakers, audio-visual equipment, equipment connecting the commune hall to villages for online conferences... Thereby, helping the locality improve the criteria in building new rural areas.

The total value of the equipment is over 150 million VND; of which, the 128th Fleet supported 80 million VND. This amount of money was donated and supported by all officers, soldiers, and workers of the Fleet.

This is also one of the activities of Squadron 128 in response to the emulation movement "The Army joins hands to build new countryside - civilized urban areas" in 2025, targeting localities where the unit is stationed and localities that have signed a program to coordinate propaganda on seas and islands.

Quang Truong Commune, Quang Xuong District is a locality that contributes a lot of human and material resources to the struggle for national liberation, construction and defense of the Fatherland.

The whole commune has 13 heroic Vietnamese mothers, 136 martyrs and 145 wounded soldiers.
