Two contractors at the Bien Hoa - Vung Tau Expressway Project are expected to complete construction 6-8 months ahead of schedule.

(DN) - According to the Provincial Construction Investment Project Management Board, at Component Project 1, Bien Hoa - Vung Tau Expressway Project, there are currently 2 contractors who are performing ahead of schedule and are expected to complete the construction of the assigned sections 6-8 months ahead of the signed contract deadline.

The two contractors that are currently working ahead of schedule and are expected to complete the project early are Lizen Joint Stock Company and 368 Construction Joint Stock Company. These are the two contractors participating in the construction of Package No. 21, Component Project 1, Bien Hoa - Vung Tau Expressway Project.

Lizen Joint Stock Company is the contractor participating in the construction of the section from Km6+200 - Km9+700, under Component 1 Project. According to the assessment of the Provincial Construction Investment Project Management Board, this contractor has been proactive in sourcing materials, increasing machinery and equipment, and working overtime. To date, Lizen Joint Stock Company has completed 83% of the volume according to the signed contract. It is expected that for the section assigned to the contractor, this contractor will complete construction in July 2025, 8 months ahead of schedule compared to the signed contract.

Meanwhile, Construction Joint Stock Company 368 is the contractor in charge of constructing 3 bridges on the main route and 1 overpass under construction package No. 21. Currently, this contractor has completed 83% of the construction volume according to the signed contract and is expected to complete the construction of the items in August 2025, 6 months ahead of schedule compared to the signed contract.

The Bien Hoa - Vung Tau Expressway Project has a total route length of nearly 54km, of which the section passing through the province is about 34km long. The section passing through the province is divided into 2 component projects 1 and 2. Of which, component project 1 is invested by the Provincial Construction Investment Project Management Board; component project 2 is invested by Project Management Board 85 ( Ministry of Construction ).

At the end of May 2025, the contractors of the Component 1 project signed a commitment with the Provincial People's Committee on the progress of the project. Accordingly, the Component 1 project will complete technical traffic before December 19, as required by the Prime Minister .
