Hai Phong nearly 26,000 candidates take the 10th grade entrance exam

According to information from the Hai Phong Departmentof Education and Training, the entire city has 25,977 candidates registered to take the entrance exam to grade 10 of public high schools.

To serve the exam, the Department has established 43 examination councils for non-specialized groups with a total of 1,102 examination rooms. For Tran Phu High School for the Gifted, one examination council was established with 97 examination rooms.

Participating in this year's exam, Nghe An province has 39,130 candidates registered to take the exam at 69 public schools throughout the province.

The total number of staff and teachers mobilized to participate in the examination and grading is about 3,400 people, including more than 3,062 supervisors, 44 Chairmen of the examination council, 108 Vice Chairmen and 186 secretaries. In addition, at each examination site, there are service and security forces to ensure security and order and conditions for the examination.

Realizing that the human factor is the key to ensuring discipline and order in the examination hall, the Hai Phong Department of Education and Training has organized many training conferences on regulations, examination procedures and management of admission software for leaders of units, admission officers and teachers working in the examination. The examination officers are all carefully selected, have a high sense of responsibility, have a firm grasp of the profession and handle situations that arise in the examination room well.

Inspection and examination work is carried out synchronously, with direct supervision teams at all examination councils before, during and after the exam. The hotline of the City Examination Steering Committee is also always maintained, ready to receive and promptly handle any arising feedback.

To ensure absolute safety for the exam, the Hai Phong Department of Education and Training proactively coordinated with the City Police to effectively carry out the work of securing exam papers, transporting and handing over exam papers and papers. The exam marking work will be organized seriously and strictly with a 24/24-hour camera surveillance system in the exam marking area. At the same time, working groups from the Ministry of Education and Training and the city will also participate in independent inspections, ensuring objectivity and fairness for all candidates.

In addition to professional work, the Hai Phong Department of Education and Training also coordinates with departments and branches such as: Police, Health, Electricity, City Youth Union... to fully prepare plans to prevent and control epidemics, ensure security and order, traffic safety, provide stable electricity and take care of the health of candidates and exam invigilators.

In particular, support for candidates in difficult circumstances is also focused on, with many activities mobilizing social organizations and unions to support transportation and accommodation for candidates and their families, ensuring that no candidate has to drop out of the exam due to economic or travel conditions.

It is expected that the exam marking will be carried out from June 9 to June 14 with about 670 officers and teachers participating in marking essay and multiple-choice tests.

The 10th grade entrance exam for the 2025-2026 school year in Hai Phong City is the first exam to be conducted under the 2018 General Education Program with many new points in content and organization methods. Therefore, the Hai Phong Department of Education and Training pays special attention to organizing conferences and training for staff participating in the exam, ensuring that all stages of organization are safe, serious, and in accordance with regulations.
