Accordingly, in the first 4 months of 2025, the total import-export turnover of all types of goods through Lang Son and Cao Bang provinces was over 24.8 billion USD; the total import-export turnover of goods declared at customs at border gates in Lang Son and Cao Bang provinces under Customs Region VI was nearly 1.9 billion USD, an increase of 3.3% over the same period in 2024.
In April 2025, the tax revenue from import and export activities of Customs Region VI was nearly 1,371 billion VND. In Lang Son alone, the tax revenue in April 2025 was 990.6 billion VND, an increase of 4% compared to March 2025. In the first 4 months of 2025, the total import and export tax revenue of Customs Region VI was 4,065.8 billion VND, an increase of 53% over the same period in 2024 (in Lang Son province, the import and export tax revenue was 3,115.9 billion VND, an increase of 138% over the same period in 2024).

Regarding the fight against smuggling and trade fraud, in April 2025, Region VI Customs detected and handled 179 cases, with the value of infringing goods being VND 6.94 billion (686 cases were detected and handled in the first 4 months of the year).
At the same time, in April, Customs Region VI effectively implemented risk management and post-clearance inspection; continued to promote the application of information technology and digital transformation, administrative reform, etc.
