Trao Nhat Hang, valedictorian of the social sciences and management major (8.96/10 points), top 5 excellent student movement, represented the new graduates to share.
Hang was moved: "On the 4-year university journey of each student, there are people who silently sow in our minds the seeds of knowledge, of passion, of the desire to realize our own dreams. They are the ones who open the paths, give wings to knowledge, give faith and courage so that we can confidently step into life.
Today, in this momentous moment, when we put on our bachelor's gowns, we realize that all of our successes today bear the mark of our teachers. They are the presentations that received meticulous comments, the deadlines that were "gently" but firmly reminded, the encouragements whenever we stumble, and the trust that allows us to shine in our own way.
Immediately after that, Hang invited the teachers to stand up and turn towards the new graduates. "In this ceremony, we will perform the Vovinam bowing gesture, with the right hand placed on our hearts." Seeing the students bow, many teachers smiled with emotion.
