Thousands of monks and Buddhists carry Buddha's relics on Hanoi streets

Starting at 7:00 p.m. on May 13, Buddha's relics will be carried on the streets of Hanoi and around Hoan Kiem Lake.

According to records, at 5 p.m. the same day, the Buddha's relics were brought to Quan Su Pagoda. After about 2 hours, the car carrying the Buddha's relics continued to travel through the streets of Hanoi and around Hoan Kiem Lake.

Along Ly Thuong Kiet, Hang Bai, and Dinh Tien Hoang streets, long lines of people and Buddhists were present, holding Buddhist flags, waiting for the Buddha's relics to pass by.

Outside Quan Su Pagoda, hundreds of Buddhists and people await Buddha's relics.

At 7:00 p.m. the same day, monks, nuns, and Buddhists were present on Ly Thuong Kiet Street preparing to receive the Buddha's relics.

Thousands of people joined the procession carrying Buddha's relics.

Along both sides of the road, people expressed their respect.

Buddha's relics are kept in a glass cabinet, inside is guarded by an Indian monk.

According to the announcement, from 6am tomorrow, May 14, to 9pm the same day, people will be allowed to visit the Buddha's relics at Quan Su Pagoda.
