Early every morning, WinEco clean vegetables, Meat Deli chilled meat and many other domestic food products are "on the shelves" at Winmart Ha Tinh Supermarket. Not only ensuring freshness, the products are strictly quality tested, have QR codes for clear traceability, bringing peace of mind to customers when shopping. As one of the units actively responding to the Campaign "Vietnamese people prioritize using Vietnamese goods", for many years, Winmart Supermarket retail system has become a trusted shopping destination for Ha Tinh consumers.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Hanh Hoa (Group 6, Thanh Sen Ward) shared: “From uncontrolled buying and selling, I have changed my habits to using 100% domestic products, especially high-quality products sold at reputable supermarkets and stores. Currently, Vietnamese products are increasingly diverse in design and quality; packaging designs are also arranged harmoniously and beautifully. Besides, with reasonable prices and clear origins, I feel more secure when using Vietnamese products for my family.”
Mr. Vo Cong Hai - Director of Winmart Ha Tinh Supermarket shared: “The encouragement of “Vietnamese people prioritize using Vietnamese goods” has been implemented by WinCommerce stores and retail chains for many years. Recently, there has been a series of information about fake and poor quality goods on the market; therefore, the trend of choosing domestic products with good quality and affordable prices is even more evident. With the proportion of Vietnamese goods accounting for over 90%, the revenue of Winmart Ha Tinh Supermarket in the first 7 months of 2025 increased by 20 - 25%. In addition to attractive promotional policies, we also prioritize displaying Vietnamese branded products in beautiful, easy-to-access locations to stimulate shopping demand”.

Recently, many cases of counterfeit goods trading have been exposed, causing confusion and anxiety among consumers. In this situation, OCOP “starred” products, typical rural agricultural products have become the products that many customers trust and choose, many production facilities and showrooms have recorded high consumption.
Mr. Nguyen Van Loi - Owner of OCOP Mai Loi peanut oil facility (Duc Quang commune) shared: “Recognized as meeting 3-star OCOP standards since 2023, Mai Loi peanut oil products are a popular product among people in the region. In recent months, our facility has recorded a 3-4 times increase in consumption. Many customers shared concerns about the quality of cooking oil on the market, so they chose to press oil from locally available raw materials. On average, my facility presses over 1.5 tons of raw materials per day, the amount of finished oil sold to the market is estimated at about 1,000 liters/month”.

Not only capturing consumer trends, many Vietnamese brands also focus on improving product quality, diversifying conveniences, and enhancing shopping experiences, thereby gradually gaining consumer trust and increasing sales.
Ms. Hoang Ngoc Anh - manager of Savani fashion store (Phan Dinh Phung street, Thanh Sen ward) shared: “Most of the products at Savani are highly applicable, not only suitable for many subjects and all activities but also focused on innovative materials and modern designs. Therefore, in the bustling fashion market in Ha Tinh, Savani is still a Vietnamese fashion brand that meets the needs and expectations of consumers. The proof is that in the first 7 months of 2025, the number of products sold at the store increased by 15 - 20% compared to the same period”.

According to statistics from the Department of Industry and Trade, currently, Vietnamese goods account for 80-90% of modern distribution channels and over 60% of traditional retail channels. In recent times, the Department of Industry and Trade of Ha Tinh has coordinated with many agencies, units and localities to promote the implementation of the Campaign "Vietnamese people prioritize using Vietnamese goods" through activities such as: strengthening information and propaganda work; implementing programs to bring Vietnamese goods to rural areas; organizing trade promotion fairs in and outside the province; supporting businesses to invest in distributing Vietnamese goods... At the same time, in order to stabilize the market, the Department of Industry and Trade has also strengthened coordination with market management forces to inspect and prevent the trade of counterfeit goods, fake goods, goods violating intellectual property rights, and combating trade fraud, thereby contributing to protecting the rights of consumers and domestically produced goods.

Changes in consumer shopping trends are positive signals for Vietnamese branded products. However, in the context of the increasingly complex and sophisticated counterfeit goods market, in order to build solid trust in consumers, Vietnamese businesses and production facilities need to build long-term development strategies, focusing on protecting their brands; at the same time, focusing on improving product quality, aiming to increase customer experience and convenience.
