HD Hyundai Electric (CEO Kim Young-ki), a global power and energy solutions group, has partnered with K-League (Korean Professional Football League) to launch the corporate social responsibility (CSR) campaign “HD Football Day x K-League” targeting Vietnamese youth.

The first program under the campaign kicked off on October 25, with the Launching Ceremony and Children's Football Class taking place at the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF) stadium in Hanoi. The event was attended by 100 children aged 8 to 10 years old in the Hanoi area.
In particular, Vietnam National Team Head Coach Kim Sang-sik, National Team Goalkeeper Coach Lee Woon-jae, and National Team Central Defender Bui Tien Dung directly coached, giving the children a meaningful and useful experience.

In addition, Vice President of the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF) Nguyen Xuan Vu, along with Director of VietFootball Tran Huy Duc, were also present at the event to join in the fun, contributing to creating a vibrant atmosphere and sending congratulations for the successful start of the campaign.

With the slogan "Highlight Your Dream", the campaign aims to motivate and nurture the dreams of Vietnamese children through the bridge of football and promote genuine engagement with the local community.

In addition, last September, HD Hyundai Electric made a promotional video for the campaign with Coach Kim Sang-sik. This video will be widely released on media and social networks in Vietnam in the near future.
“HD Football Day x K-League is not just a simple CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) activity, but a sincere commitment to accompany and develop together with Vietnamese society. We wish to encourage bright dreams of children through football, while making continuous efforts to provide high-quality energy solutions, demonstrating the responsibility of a leading electricity enterprise,” said Mr. Kim Ju Yun, Senior Vice President of HD Hyundai Electric.

A representative of HD Hyundai Electric said that after this launch program, the company plans to expand the campaign to many small and medium-sized cities in Vietnam. In addition, the company is also considering a plan to invite outstanding children to Korea to visit and experience the professional training environment of K-League clubs.
