(Dan Tri) - At the National Anorectal Scientific Conference, doctors in Ho Chi Minh City presented a report on techniques to help improve the quality of life for rectal cancer patients, especially young people.

Recently, the 13th National Anorectal Scientific Conference took place in Thanh Hoa, gathering hundreds of experts and leading doctors in the field of Digestive Surgery in Vietnam.

According to Dr. Hoang, the two-stage Pull-through low rectal resection endoscopic method is performed in two stages, including removing the tumor and pulling the colon out of the anus, then connecting the colon to the anal canal, to ensure oncological requirements and limit post-operative complications.
