Tuyen Quang has 2 nurses honored at the 35th Anniversary of the Vietnam Nursing Association

The Vietnam Nursing Association has just held the 35th Anniversary Ceremony of the Vietnam Nursing Association (October 26, 1990 - October 26, 2025); Ceremony to honor outstanding nurses and the 12th National Nursing Science Conference.

Nurse Dinh Thi Thu Huong, Head Nurse of the General Surgery Department, was commended at the celebration ceremony.

After 35 years of establishment and development, the Association has nearly 120,000 members nationwide. With its humanitarian mission of "For the profession – For the members – For the health of the people," the Association has collaborated with the Ministry of Health , training institutions, and hospitals in policy development, organizational development, and nursing education. Nurses have become a core force in improving the quality of healthcare services, contributing to strengthening public trust in the medical profession.

Nurse Ho Phuong Thuy, a member of the Tuyen Quang Provincial Nurses Association and Deputy Head of the Training and Referral Department, was honored at the commemoration ceremony.

Two nurses from the Provincial General Hospital were honored at the celebration.

At the celebration, many collectives and individuals received certificates of merit and commendations from the Ministry of Health , the Vietnam Medical Association, and the Vietnam Medical Trade Union. In particular, 67 outstanding nurses were honored by the Vietnam Nurses Association for their excellent achievements in patient care and scientific research. Two nurses from Tuyen Quang province's General Hospital were honored in this round: Dinh Thi Thu Huong, Head Nurse of the General Surgery Department; and Ho Phuong Thuy, a member of the Tuyen Quang Provincial Nurses Association and Deputy Head of the Training and Referral Department.
