HDBank sets record date, completes 25% dividend payment plan

Ho Chi Minh City Development Joint Stock Commercial Bank ( HDBank ) announced that the last registration date to close the list of shareholders to receive stock dividends in 2022 is July 20, 2023, not long after completing the payment of cash dividends at a rate of 10%.

According to information from the Ho Chi Minh City Stock Exchange, Ho Chi Minh City Development Joint Stock Commercial Bank (HDBank, HDB) has just announced the resolution of the Board of Directors approving July 20 as the final registration date to establish the list of shareholders entitled to receive 2022 dividends in shares. The ex-rights trading date is July 19.

According to the issuance plan, each shareholder owning 100 shares will receive 15 new shares. The capital for issuance comes from undistributed profit after tax in 2022 according to the audited consolidated financial statements and fully allocated funds according to regulations.

After completing the dividend payment plan, HDBank's charter capital will increase from VND25,303 billion to over VND29,076 billion. The bank plans to spend about VND3,000 billion of the additional capital to supplement medium- and long-term lending capital, the rest will be used to supplement working capital for other activities.

Thus, this year, HDBank shareholders continue to receive dividends at a total rate of 25%. Recently, on June 12, shareholders of this bank received cash dividends at a rate of 10%.

HDBank is among the banks with strong and sustainable growth, with a ROE ratio always above 20%. In the first quarter of 2023, HDBank's ROE ratio reached 22%. At the same time, this bank has a tradition of regularly paying high dividends, up to 25% in 2021 and 2022 and 65% in 2020.
