The 21st Mong Cai City People's Council held its 22nd session

On February 27, the People's Council of Mong Cai City, term XXI, 2021-2026, held the 22nd Session (special session) to discuss and resolve a number of important contents under its authority.

Delegates listened to and voted to approve reports, submissions, and draft resolutions on: Supplementing socio-economic development targets for 2025 in Resolution 235/NQ-HDND dated December 18, 2024 of the City People's Council; approving the task of 1/2000 scale zoning plan of the Economic Cooperation Zone (Zone A3) in Mong Cai Border Gate Economic Zone; abolishing Resolution No. 138/NQ-HDND dated November 14, 2022 of the City People's Council on assigning the City People's Committee to decide on investment policies for a number of public investment projects in the area; confirming the results of dismissal and election of 2 members of the City People's Committee, term XXI, term 2021-2026.

In particular, the Resolution on the establishment and reorganization of specialized agencies under the People's Committee of Mong Cai City was passed. This is the content to specify the arrangement of the apparatus of the government agency system to ensure synchronization of "streamlining - compactness - strength - efficiency - effectiveness - efficiency". Accordingly, Mong Cai City has streamlined from 12 departments to 10 specialized departments under the City People's Committee, ensuring synchronization with the departments and branches of the province.

With the spirit of enthusiasm, responsibility, democracy and science , the 22nd session of the 21st City People's Council has completed all the contents of the proposed program. The discussion, question and answer sessions focused on evaluating and clarifying the advantages and difficulties and proposing tasks and solutions to successfully implement the resolutions passed at the session.

The meeting chairman requested the City People's Committee to urgently issue programs, plans, and decisions to specifically implement the resolutions, so that relevant agencies, units, communes, wards, and individuals can proactively carry out their tasks from the beginning of March 2025.
