A resident had earlier found DJ Tete’s body in the woods and reported it to the police. Police suspect the victim was murdered elsewhere and then brought to the woods to be disposed of. The crime scene showed many tire tracks, about 20km from the victim’s last phone signal.

Initial autopsy results showed that DJ Tete died from a gunshot wound to the head. The victim's body was taken to Kanchanaburi province (Thailand) for the family to arrange the funeral. The artist's family hopes that the investigation agency will soon clarify the case.

Of the two suspects who were summoned by the police on May 19, one had a bite mark on his hand. The bite mark is being compared with the victim’s DNA. Police have also temporarily initiated charges related to drug use while awaiting the conclusion of the investigation.

Before his death, DJ Tete worked at a bar in Mueang district, Kanchanaburi province. He went missing at 3:53 a.m. on May 14 after being kidnapped by a group of people.

On May 19, Kanchanaburi provincial police said the court approved arrest warrants for five suspects, including a man named Thanadet Chueathong.

Four suspects are believed to have left the province but are still in Thailand. These are suspects who had direct roles in the case such as informants, drivers and carrying out the acts of kidnapping the victim.

Kanchanaburi Provincial Police have called on the remaining suspects to surrender, and have vowed to expand their investigation and severely punish all individuals involved. According to Thairath, the case is believed to have stemmed from a love conflict.

Initial investigations revealed that the 33-year-old artist is believed to have had a relationship with the girlfriend of a wanted drug trafficker who is hiding near the border. DJ Tete had previously been slapped by the suspect’s henchmen as a warning, but continued to meet the woman.

On May 19, DJ Tete's biological father and girlfriend burst into tears when they saw the victim's body. Mr. Wichian - the victim's father - said: "I am heartbroken but relieved that my son's body was found. I hope the police will quickly arrest the perpetrator so that my son can rest in peace."

DJ Tete's girlfriend also revealed that she had advised him not to contact the woman mentioned above and DJ Tete confirmed that the relationship had ended. "I didn't expect things to end like this," she said, choking up.

Other relatives of DJ Tete said that the male artist was very gentle and did not like violence. Relatives of the male artist said that before going missing, DJ Tete appeared normal.

"We don't ask for anything special, we just hope the law will deal with us strictly and not let us be harmed," said Tete's family.
