According to analyst and display industry expert Ross Young, the Galaxy Z Flip FE will use the same display panel as the Galaxy Z Flip 6. Based on that information, we can expect Samsung's affordable foldable smartphone to have a 6.7-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with Full-HD+ resolution and an adaptive refresh rate of 1-120Hz.
The foldable LTPO OLED panel, manufactured by Samsung Display, is protected by Ultra Thin Glass (UTG), is HDR10+ certified, and can reach a maximum brightness of up to 2,600 nits. This means the Galaxy Z Flip FE will have excellent display quality.
The Galaxy Z Flip FE is also rumored to use the Exynos 2400 processor, 12GB of RAM, and 256GB of internal storage. It's unclear whether the device will have the same battery and camera as the Galaxy Z Flip 6, but it would be great if it did.
It remains unclear whether Samsung will launch the Galaxy Z Flip FE alongside the Galaxy S25 series this January, or wait until mid-year to unveil it alongside the Galaxy Z Fold7 and Z Flip7.
