Samsung is expected to launch the low-cost foldable smartphone Galaxy Z Flip FE in 2025.
Samsung's low-cost foldable smartphone is expected to be called the Galaxy Z Flip FE and will be released this year. Recently, a source shared quite interesting information related to the device's screen.
Samsung Galaxy Z Flip FE will have the same screen as Z Flip6 |
According to display industry insider and analyst Ross Young, the Galaxy Z Flip FE will use the same display panel as the Galaxy Z Flip6. Based on that information, we can expect Samsung's budget foldable smartphone to feature a 6.7-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X panel with Full-HD+ resolution and a 1-120Hz adaptive refresh rate.
The foldable LTPO OLED panel is manufactured by Samsung Display, protected by Ultra Thin Glass (UTG), is HDR10+ certified, and can reach a peak brightness of up to 2,600 nits. That means the Galaxy Z Flip FE will have excellent display quality.
The Galaxy Z Flip FE is also rumored to feature an Exynos 2400 processor, 12GB of RAM, and 256GB of storage. It's unclear if it will have the same battery and camera as the Galaxy Z Flip6, but it would be nice to have it.
It is still unclear whether Samsung will launch the Galaxy Z Flip FE with the Galaxy S25 series this January, or wait until mid-year to launch it with the Galaxy Z Fold7 and Z Flip7 duo.
