Accordingly, the tasks include: Applying drones to monitor and update changes in forest resources, forest inventory and biodiversity monitoring; building a database on forestry plant varieties; building a toolkit for managing exploitation applications and monitoring water levels and rainfall; digitizing data on irrigation works, dykes, clean water, and natural disaster prevention into flood warning software to serve natural disaster prevention for 4 major river basins in the whole province. In addition, the funding also supports the construction of a database system for periodic mineral exploitation reports; upgrading the Wwebside of the Department of Agriculture and Environment; expanding and upgrading the OCOP booth applying 3D technology on a digital platform; propaganda, capacity building, software hosting costs, etc.
Deputy Director of the Department of Agriculture and Environment Tran Dinh Hiep said that the issuance of the 2025 digital transformation plan with specific key tasks will contribute to strongly promoting the digital transformation process, improving the management and operation efficiency of the agriculture and environment sector. Along with that, it will improve productivity, quality and added value of agricultural products, optimize resource management and environmental protection.
In particular, developing a digital society aims to raise awareness and digital skills for officials, businesses and people, thereby contributing to the implementation of targets, completing goals and tasks in Resolution No. 07-NQ/TU, dated March 31, 2022 of the Provincial Party Executive Committee and improving the province's digital transformation ranking.
