Emergency support of 700 billion VND to overcome damage caused by floods

Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Hoa Binh has just signed Decision No. 2549/QD-TTg dated November 21, 2025, providing emergency financial support to the provinces of Khanh Hoa, Lam Dong, Gia Lai and Dak Lak to overcome damage caused by floods.

Specifically, support of 700 billion VND from the central budget reserve in 2025 for 4 localities, including: Khanh Hoa, Lam Dong, Gia Lai, Dak Lak (of which: Khanh Hoa province 200 billion VND, Lam Dong province 200 billion VND, Gia Lai province 150 billion VND, Dak Lak province 150 billion VND) to overcome damage caused by floods as proposed by the Ministry of Finance in Document No. 18072/BTC-NSNN dated November 20, 2025.

The Deputy Prime Minister requested the People's Committees of the provinces to be responsible for proactively balancing local budget expenditures, along with the funds supported by the central budget and other legal financial resources to carry out urgent tasks to overcome the consequences of natural disasters according to regulations.

The People's Committees of the provinces shall manage and use the above-mentioned additional funds, ensuring publicity, transparency, correct use, correct objects, and compliance with the provisions of the law on the state budget and other relevant legal documents, avoiding loss or negativity; at the same time, report the results of use to the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment and relevant agencies for synthesis and reporting to the Prime Minister.

This Decision comes into force from the date of signing (November 21, 2025).
