Support to build and repair 66 houses for war veterans in difficult circumstances

6,254 gifts, worth over 2.8 billion VND, have been presented by the Veterans Association at all levels in the province to war veterans in difficult circumstances over the past 4 years.

Along with that, the Veterans Association at all levels in the province mobilized cadres and members to support the "For the Poor" Fund with over 2.5 billion VND; awarded 50 scholarships worth 50 million VND to 50 children of poor veterans and former soldiers with good academic performance.

The provincial Veterans Association launched and raised over VND2.68 billion to support the construction and repair of 66 houses for members in difficult circumstances. Of which, the movement "building and repairing houses of comradeship" was implemented with 57 houses, worth over VND2.1 billion; responding to the movement "eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses for veterans", the association at all levels mobilized resources to support the construction of 9 houses, worth VND560 million.
