
Major General Pham Manh Thang, Party Secretary and Director of the Vietnam Peacekeeping Department, chaired the ceremony.
Attending the ceremony were representatives of the Hanoi Capital Command, the General Staff, the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum Command, the Military Medical Academy, the Special Forces Corps, the Air Defense - Air Force, and a large number of officers and soldiers.

In a solemn and respectful atmosphere, officers and soldiers of the Vietnamese peacekeeping force expressed their infinite gratitude to beloved President Ho Chi Minh , who laid the foundation for the peaceful and friendly foreign policy of the Vietnamese people.

On behalf of the entire force, Major General Pham Manh Thang, Party Secretary and Director of the Vietnam Peacekeeping Department, respectfully reported to the spirit of President Ho Chi Minh the results of the mission of the two units that had just completed their terms at the United Nations peacekeeping missions.
Major General Pham Manh Thang affirmed that, thoroughly grasping the policies and guidelines of the Party, State, Central Military Commission and Ministry of National Defense, the forces participating in UN peacekeeping operations have strived to excellently fulfill their tasks, contributing to affirming Vietnam's commitment to be a friend, a reliable partner, and a responsible member of the international community for the goal of peace, stability and sustainable development.
Reporting on the results of the mission, Major General Pham Manh Thang emphasized: The 3rd Engineering Team has successfully completed the mission assigned by the United Nations, with many outstanding results: Maintaining, repairing and upgrading more than 300km of main supply roads, ensuring safe mobility of large-tonnage vehicles, contributing to improving traffic infrastructure and regional security; Applying K-31 technology to treat 27,000m² of airport surface, helping to reduce dust, waterproof and maintain stable operations of the airport - commended by the UNISFA Mission; Constructing two large-scale factories ahead of schedule, building smart barracks for Peacekeeping units, performing more than 200 heavy vehicle towing operations, contributing to clearing vital routes and providing effective humanitarian assistance.

Level 2 Field Hospital No. 6 also successfully completed its medical professional tasks at the UNMISS Mission, treating 2,650 patients, ensuring absolute safety, and successfully handling many complicated cases that exceeded the standards of a United Nations field hospital.
The unit has performed more than 6,500 physical therapy sessions, effectively preventing diseases such as malaria, monkeypox, and cholera; and at the same time spreading the value of Vietnamese traditional medicine to international friends. Six medical scientific research projects of the unit have been published in prestigious domestic specialized journals.
The two units always strictly abide by military discipline and United Nations regulations; proactively develop combat readiness plans, ensuring absolute security and safety. In particular, in areas with high risk of flooding, Field Hospital No. 6 has proactively developed and practiced disaster prevention and rescue plans, which have been highly appreciated by the Mission.

In the work of mass mobilization and foreign affairs, the units have promoted the spirit of "Uncle Ho's soldiers" in the new period, carrying out hundreds of volunteer activities such as: medical examination and treatment, providing free medicine to people; supporting the construction of classrooms, providing clean water, and repairing roads. The 3rd Engineering Team and the 6th Field Hospital have also actively coordinated with domestic and foreign media agencies, publishing more than 230 news, articles, and reports on the activities of the Vietnam Peacekeeping Force.
Logistics and technical work are strictly ensured; soldiers' lives are carefully taken care of, production is increased, meals are improved, health and solidarity within the unit are ensured.
With the above outstanding results and the very practical and meaningful actions to help local people, once again affirming the professional capacity, the good values of the Vietnamese national cultural traditions, the Vietnam People's Army and the noble qualities of "Uncle Ho's Soldiers" in the new era have shone and left a strong impression in the hearts of international friends.

Before and after the ceremony to report achievements to Uncle Ho at Ba Dinh Square, officers and soldiers of the Vietnam Peacekeeping Department respectfully offered incense and flowers at the Bac Son Martyrs' Monument and at House H67, President Ho Chi Minh Relic Site.
