Established on the basis of merging 3 communes Hoang Lau, An Hoa and Hoang Dan (old Tam Duong district), Hoang An commune currently has a natural area of ​​over 20 km2, a population of over 26,000 people with 28 residential villages. This is an important advantage to help the commune expand its resources for socio -economic development, and at the same time facilitate investment attraction.

With a favorable geographical location and abundant resources, Hoang An has many opportunities to develop both traditional industries and new economic sectors. In recent years, the commune economy has continued to grow, basically achieving and exceeding the targets set by the resolution. State budget revenue reached nearly 608 billion VND; average income per capita was more than 63 million VND/year. Landscape and environmental beautification, infrastructure investment, waste management... were implemented synchronously, contributing to renewing the appearance of rural areas and improving people's lives. The multidimensional poverty rate decreased to 0.27%; every year, 95% of residential areas meet cultural standards, 91% of families achieve cultural titles.

To achieve the goal of economic restructuring associated with the construction of advanced new rural areas, the commune focuses on increasing production value, increasing the proportion of industry, trade - services, and developing commodity agriculture . Land advantages are effectively exploited through restructuring the agricultural sector, organizing concentrated, large-scale production, applying high technology associated with environmental protection. The commune forms specialized agricultural areas, develops models of raising livestock and poultry in an industrial direction, encourages farms far from residential areas; strives to build 1-2 key branded products. At the same time, mobilize farmers to participate in cooperatives, cooperative groups, and develop small enterprises to link production and consumption.

To promote industry, Hoang An is reviewing and adjusting the planning for the 2025-2030 period, focusing on infrastructure investment and attracting projects to industrial clusters. In particular, the commune coordinates to complete the infrastructure of Hoang Lau Industrial Cluster, while calling for secondary high-tech investment, effectively using local labor. The commune also proposed to deploy 2 industrial clusters Hoang Dan (39 ha) and Hoang Dan 2 (47 ha), creating momentum for sustainable development. In addition, it encourages small and medium-sized enterprises to expand production and develop industry associated with urbanization.

Hoang An commune promotes specialized commodity production areas with branded agricultural products such as An Hoa cucumbers.

The immediate key task of the Party Committee and the commune government is to accelerate site clearance - a breakthrough to attract investment and develop socio-economic infrastructure. The commune focuses on important projects such as provincial roads 305, 309, DH24; water resource management project, flood prevention in Vinh Phuc area (old); garment factory, high-end leather production of Giovani Company at Hoang Lau Industrial Park; and many traffic projects, auction of service land, residential areas... Along with that, Hoang An commune focuses on establishing and managing planning as a basis for industrial, urban and service development; taking advantage of mechanisms and policies to expand small-scale industry, attract green and clean technology, creating conditions for trade and service development. Hoang An commune also promotes the production of branded agricultural products, typically An Hoa cucumbers... The commune also creates favorable conditions for businesses, economic types and people to do trade and services, creating trading points in residential villages to meet the needs and increase income for the people.
