BHG - There are only about 20 days left until the 2025 High School Graduation Exam takes place. With thorough and proactive preparation from review to exam organization, Hoang Su Phi district is striving to create the best conditions for students to confidently "pass the gate".
Firm knowledge, steady mind
In the 2024-2025 school year, Hoang Su Phi High School has 207 grade 12 students taking the graduation exam. Right at the end of the first semester, the school proactively classified students to guide their review. Good and excellent students were given in-depth guidance on difficult questions. Students with weaker academic performance were tutored by subject teachers and provided with basic knowledge. At the end of April, the school organized a graduation mock exam based on the general exam questions of the Department of Education and Training with a passing rate of 97%. This result is a clear demonstration of the effectiveness of the review work that the school has implemented methodically, with a focus and key points, suitable for the abilities of each group of students.

Ms. Le Thi Ha, Vice Principal of Hoang Su Phi High School, said: The trial exam helps students get familiar with the exam regulations, shape their test-taking style, and reduce psychological pressure. At the same time, it helps the school have a basis to adjust review methods to suit the actual needs of students for the "sprint" stage. For subjects with students scoring below average, teachers must develop a separate support plan to ensure that students keep up with the program without being overloaded.
Teacher Duong Hong Chi, Principal of Hoang Su Phi Boarding Secondary and High School, said: “The school’s Board of Directors has mobilized additional subject teachers for grades 10 and 11 to promptly support and enrich students’ knowledge. For classes with a small number of students registering for elective subjects, the school encourages teachers to organize group review sessions; establish Zalo and Facebook groups to enhance lesson exchange, homework submission and knowledge enrichment. Thanks to that, review sessions are flexible and suitable to actual conditions.”
Be prepared with options
In the 2025 High School Graduation Exam, Hoang Su Phi district has 398 candidates registered at 2 exam sites: Hoang Su Phi High School and Thong Nguyen High School with a total of 20 exam rooms. Of which, Hoang Su Phi High School exam site has 286 candidates, divided into 14 exam rooms; Thong Nguyen High School exam site has 112 candidates, in 6 exam rooms. To ensure the exam takes place seriously, safely, and in accordance with regulations, the Steering Committee for the 2025 High School Graduation Exam (SC) of the district has assigned 96 officers, teachers, and employees, including supervisors, inspectors, medical staff , police, etc. to directly participate in performing tasks at the exam sites.

Ms. Dang Thi Mung, Deputy Head of the Department of Education and Training, Deputy Head of the Standing Committee of the Hoang Su Phi District Examination Steering Committee, said: “Up to this point, the preparation work for the exam has been basically completed. At the examination sites, the facilities, equipment, and means for the exam meet the safety requirements according to the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training . Relevant sectors actively coordinate, such as the Health sector sending staff to be on duty at the examination sites with full medicine and health care for candidates; the Electricity sector preparing a plan to ensure a stable power source and arrange backup generators; the Commune Police force coordinating with local authorities to develop a plan to ensure security, order, and traffic safety during the examination period”. The District Youth Union was assigned to coordinate with the police, military, and militia forces to survey routes that are easily cut off by floods; support candidates in remote areas to travel safely to the examination sites. Authorities of communes and towns with exam sites closely monitor weather conditions, check locations at risk of landslides, and mobilize local forces to support the exam to take place safely and on schedule.
Comrade Lu Tuan Thanh, Deputy Secretary of the District Youth Union, shared: The District Youth Union has developed a plan to review and grasp information about candidates in the localities. Thereby, proactively handling plans in case of unusual incidents such as floods, accidents, or health problems. During the exam period, we will arrange about 50 union members and youths to participate in supporting the exam season, supporting candidates to arrive at the exam sites fully and on time according to regulations.
