On this occasion, the units presented 400 native banana seedlings to the youth union members of A Vao commune, with a total value of 10 million VND; presented 20 gifts and 200 tubes of Berocca effervescent tablets to students in difficult circumstances, with a total value of 15 million VND; organized eye examinations and consultations and provided free medicine to about 300 students and teachers of A Vao Primary and Secondary Boarding School for Ethnic Minorities.
Responding to the Campaign "Proud of a strip of land and rivers" launched by the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, the Youth Union of Quang Tri Newspaper donated 20 maps of Vietnam to A Vao Boarding Primary and Secondary School for Ethnic Minorities to help teachers and students more conveniently teach and learn geography.

Secretary of the Quang Tri Newspaper Youth Union Le Truong said: "Helping members in disadvantaged areas" is one of the volunteer activities initiated by the Quang Tri Newspaper Youth Union. The first program, held in June 2023, presented 200 native banana trees to two members Ho Van E and Ho Van Te who are in difficult circumstances in Pa Ling village, A Vao commune. Up to now, the 200 banana trees have grown well."

Principal of A Vao Ethnic Boarding Primary and Secondary School Nguyen Thanh Binh shared: “The school has 7 campuses, 736 students, mainly Pa Ko ethnic people with difficult circumstances; facilities and teaching equipment are still lacking. The practical and meaningful work today will help teachers and students have more favorable conditions in teaching and learning.”
