Ho Chi Minh City students enjoy experiencing special "open tours"

Nguyen Hien High School (District 11, Ho Chi Minh City) has just organized the program "Open tour 2025" with the theme "Experience a day as a Nguyen Hien student", attracting more than 300 9th grade students from secondary schools in the city.

This is one of the special "open tours" that many high schools are currently organizing to help 9th grade students get a clearer picture of the school they will apply to in the upcoming 10th grade entrance exam.

Students can participate in trial lessons in math, history, and chemistry taught by the school's own teachers.

In addition to visiting the school, the "open tour" aims at practical experiences. According to Mr. Pham Le Thanh, a chemistry teacher at Nguyen Hien High School, this year's "open tour" is divided into 2 shifts, each lasting about 2 hours with 2 main activities. Accordingly, students are transformed into Nguyen Hien students to experience the lessons they choose, the subjects they love and want to choose at high school. The second activity is to interact and experience at the Art Club and Music Club workshops with the theme "Love yourself - nurture happiness". Students can interact with the seniors in the club, experience making backgrounds, making handmade gifts... helping 9th grade students to be more confident and excited about the new environment.
