Students of Bac Kan High School for the Gifted achieved high results in the National Qualifying Round of the World Office Informatics Championship

BBK - On April 2, at the National Economics University in Hanoi, the IT Team of Bac Kan Specialized High School (Bac Kan city) consisting of 28 contestants participated in the National Qualifying Round of the Microsoft Office Specialist World Championship - MOSWC 2023.

The Informatics Team of Bac Kan Specialized High School participated in the National Qualifying Round of the 2023 World Office Informatics Championship.

In Vietnam, the 2023 season saw a strong growth in the number of candidates participating in the qualifying round with nearly 2,200 excellent candidates selected from 240 teams from provinces, cities, universities, academies, colleges and high schools across the country.

This year, the competition continues to be implemented in 2 versions of Microsoft Office 2016 and Microsoft Office 2019. Each version includes 3 parts: Word, Excel and Powerpoint.

Participating in the Competition, Bac Kan Specialized High School had 27/28 students achieving 700/1,000 points. In addition, 6 students won 2 Second Prizes in the Excel competition, 4 Encouragement Prizes in the Word and Powerpoint competitions. It is known that this is the first year that Bac Kan province has a team participating in the World Office Informatics Championship.

With the above achievements, students will be granted a MOS Office Informatics certificate certifying their international standard Office Informatics skills and qualifications, valid indefinitely worldwide, signed by the General Director of Microsoft himself. This is also an important work asset for students in the digital age.

By participating in the contest, students not only get to participate in a useful technology playground, nurturing and developing young IT talents, but also realize their dream of conquering the international arena./.
