The Academy of Posts and Telecommunications increases its quota and plans to add some new majors.

(Dan Tri) - The Academy of Posts and Telecommunications Technology has just announced its expected enrollment method for 2026, including increasing enrollment quotas and adding several new majors.

In 2026, the Posts and Telecommunications Institute of Technology (PTIT) plans to enroll about 8,000 students, an increase compared to last year.

According to the school representative, this year there will be some new majors such as: Finance and Banking, Game Graphic Design...

In 2026, the school plans to maintain the same 5 admission methods as in 2025.

Specifically, the 5 admission methods in 2026 are as follows:

Method 1: Talent Selection

First: Direct admission and priority admission: For candidates who have won national and international prizes according to current admission regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training and the academy.

Second: Admission based on competency profile (HSNL): For candidates with achievements in winning prizes in the national high school excellent student selection exam (encouragement prize), provincial/central city level (first, second, third and encouragement prize), the time of winning the prize is not more than 3 years from the time of admission or are students at specialized high schools or specialized systems of national key high schools.

Method 2: Admission based on international competency assessment certificate results (SAT/ACT Certificate)

Method 3: Admission based on results of competency assessment (AAP) and thinking assessment (AAP) exams organized by the following units: Hanoi National University, Ho Chi Minh City National University, Hanoi University of Science and Technology, and Hanoi National University of Education.

Method 4: Admission based on a combination of international English certificates (IELTS, TOEFL) and high school academic results.

Method 5 : Admission based on high school graduation exam results in 2026.

Previously, in May, the academy announced an increase in tuition fees by 2.6-10.2 million VND/year, depending on the program and major.

Of which, tuition fees for full-time students in the mass program for the 2025-2026 school year are on average about 29.6-37.6 million VND/year depending on the major.

Tuition fees for high-quality undergraduate programs in the 2025-2026 school year are on average about 49.2 million VND to 55 million VND/school year, depending on the major/program.

Tuition fees for the Bachelor of Information Technology (application-oriented), Game Design and Development, Vietnam - Japan Information Technology, Artificial Intelligence programs for the 2025-2026 school year are on average about 40 million to 45.5 million VND/school year, depending on the major/program.
