At the conference, the leader of the Ministry of Justice briefly presented the draft Government Report on the results of the review of the system of legal documents according to Resolution No. 101/2023/QH15 of the 15th National Assembly. Through the review, relevant ministries, branches, localities, agencies and associations have compiled and classified them into 24 appendices corresponding to 24 groups of fields required to be reviewed in Resolution No. 101/2023/QH15, including 22 key fields. Regarding legal documents, the agencies reviewed 397 documents, including: 60 laws and resolutions of the National Assembly; 139 decrees of the Government and decisions of the Prime Minister; 198 other documents issued by central agencies.
Comrade Tran Quoc Nam, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee attended the conference at the bridge point of our province.
At the conference, leaders of ministries, branches, central agencies and localities focused on giving opinions on various fields, especially on overlapping, inadequate and complicated contents in laws, resolutions, decrees and circulars.
Concluding the conference, Deputy Prime Minister Le Minh Khai emphasized the importance of the report's content in discovering and assessing shortcomings, obstacles and overlaps. Therefore, he suggested that in the coming time, the Working Group should continue to review 22 key areas, thereby proposing the National Assembly Standing Committee and the National Assembly to consider and decide. Focus on evaluating and reviewing the contents of legal documents that have a great impact, cause waste to society, and create loopholes for law violations, thereby proposing recommendations for timely amendment and supplementation. For the content of difficulties and shortcomings in circulars of ministries and branches, those ministries and branches must promptly amend and remove them. In addition, the Working Group must closely coordinate with relevant ministries and branches to ensure the time to complete the report according to regulations.
