Joint conference agreed on the content of the meeting of the People's Council of Van Ho commune

(sonla.gov.vn) On November 7, Comrade Nguyen Thi Ngoc, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Council of Van Ho commune chaired the joint conference to unify the content for the fifth thematic session and the second regular session of the People's Council of the 21st term, 2021 - 2026. The conference was attended by the Standing Committee of the People's Council of the commune, leaders of the People's Committee of the commune, the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the commune, and representatives of a number of departments and offices.

The conference agreed on the expected content of the two upcoming sessions: The fifth thematic session (expected in November 2025) will focus on reviewing and approving the Resolutions on the collection and allocation of the 2025 budget estimate (phase 4), the allocation of the central budget's regular expenditure estimate to implement Sub-project 1, Project 4 of the National Target Program for Ethnic Minorities and Mountainous Areas (phase 2), and the allocation of the central budget to ensure the material facilities for the arrangement of administrative units and the construction of a 2-level local government model.

The second regular session (expected in December 2025) will review reports on socio- economic development, budget, national defense and security in the last 6 months of 2025 and plans and estimates for 2026. The session will also present draft resolutions on the 2026 socio-economic development plan and the 2026 budget revenue and expenditure estimates, along with the election of members of the Commune People's Committee (term 2021 - 2026) and other contents.

In his concluding remarks, the Chairman of the Commune People's Council assigned the Standing Committee of the People's Council to direct the preparation of content and assign the Committees to review documents. The Commune People's Committee directed agencies and units to fully and qualitatively prepare Reports, Submissions, draft Resolutions and send documents to the Committees of the Commune People's Council for review according to regulations. At the same time, the functional agencies were assigned the task of ensuring communication, security, order and health care for the meeting.
