Environmental protection training conference in 2025: Strengthening the premise for environmental protection activities of EVNGENCO1

Mr. Nguyen Viet Tai - Deputy Director of Dai Ninh Hydropower Company delivered the opening speech at the Conference.

In his opening speech, Mr. Nguyen Viet Tai - Deputy Director of Dai Ninh Hydropower Company - the host of the Conference - emphasized the importance of complying with legal regulations on environmental protection in production and business activities. He also affirmed the Company's commitment to implementing environmental protection measures effectively and sustainably.

The conference fully conveyed the contents of environmental protection work, including: (i) Regulations on compliance in environmental protection activities for power plants; (ii) Regulations related to emission monitoring and inventory activities at power plants, with contents on emission monitoring and environmental licenses; (iii) Emission monitoring and working environment, focusing on continuous and periodic automatic emission monitoring; (iv) Wastewater monitoring and protection of receiving water sources, including continuous automatic monitoring.

Also at this conference, the officers in charge of environmental protection work at the units discussed and had the expert from the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment , Ms. Le Thi Lan Anh - Deputy Head of the Specialized Inspection Department, answer practical problems in the process of implementing environmental protection work at the unit. This was a highlight that was highly appreciated by many students when the bottlenecks in environmental protection work at the grassroots level were directly resolved with the support of leading experts.

In his closing speech at the conference, Mr. Nguyen Hong Thach - Deputy Head of Safety and Environment Department of Power Generation Corporation 1 highly appreciated the close and effective coordination in organizing the class. At the same time, he emphasized that environmental protection is a core and consistent task in the sustainable development orientation of Power Generation Corporation 1.
