More than 1,500 billion VND invested in renovating Hoa Xuan bridge traffic intersection

According to Decision 1940/QD-UBND dated June 24 of the City People's Committee, the project of Le Thanh Nghi - Cach Mang Thang Tam - Thang Long - Hoa Xuan Bridge access road (abbreviated as Hoa Xuan Bridge access road) is invested by the city to complete the traffic infrastructure network according to the planning orientation, synchronously connecting the technical infrastructure system in the area, promoting socio -economic development.

At the same time, it resolves traffic congestion in the intersection cluster area during rush hours, improving traffic capacity and safety when passing through the intersection.

Accordingly, Hoa Xuan bridge will be kept in its current state, a new bridge will be built to expand downstream of the old bridge, with architectural options considered in the next steps.

At the intersection cluster on Hoa Cuong ward side, arrange the tunnel on Cach Mang Thang Tam street and the service roads on both sides of the tunnel; arrange the tunnel on Thang Long street and the service roads on both sides of the tunnel.

In addition, Le Thanh Nghi Street will be expanded towards the park land (from Le No Street to the beginning of Hoa Xuan Bridge), Do Xu Bridge will be expanded towards Khue Trung Lake, and a right turn will be arranged from Le Thanh Nghi to Cach Mang Thang Tam Street towards Khue Trung Lake. At the intersection cluster in Hoa Xuan Ward, a riverside road will be invested in running under Hoa Xuan Bridge, connecting from Giang Huong 1 Street to Ton That Duong Ky Street. Traffic will be reorganized within the intersection.

At the same time, relocate and build new technical infrastructure such as: water supply, drainage, lighting, 110kV, 22kV and 0.4kV power lines, wastewater drainage, communication systems and other related technical infrastructure...

This is a group B traffic project, with a total investment of more than 1,571 billion VND from the Da Nang city budget. The project is divided into two component projects: site clearance and technical infrastructure construction.

Specifically, the land clearance part is invested by the Land Fund Development Center, implemented from 2025 to 2029. The total investment of this component is more than 129 billion VND. The investment in construction of technical infrastructure of the project will be invested by the Project Management Board for investment in construction of traffic and agricultural works. The implementation period is from 2025 to 2029. The total investment of this component is more than 1,441 billion VND.
