Specifically, 16 people in A Luoi and Binh Dien communes were stuck in Rao Trang area and were previously hired by a landowner to clear grass and plant forests in this area.

Due to the high and strong water flow, this group of people moved to the Phong Xuan Forest Protection Management Station to set up a temporary camp.

On the morning of November 17, the authorities contacted the employer directly. According to this person, all 16 people were present, in stable health, and no one was injured.

Through communication, this group said that the food they brought was enough for 3-4 days. They would return when the water receded. During this time, if they needed support, they would proactively contact the nearest commune authorities and police.
