Previously, on November 1, a video clip of an elderly woman named VTC (born in 1952, residing in Phu Sa village, Xuan Phu commune) was circulated on Facebook with the content claiming that she was isolated by floodwaters and "had not eaten or drunk for several days", causing public confusion.

Through verification, the Commune Police identified a Facebook account named LTH (born in 1997, residing in the same locality) as the person who posted the video. Working with the authorities, Ms. LTH admitted to providing false information.

In fact, Mr. VTC was fully supported by local authorities and charitable organizations with food, drinking water, milk and necessities during the flood.

Currently, Xuan Phu Commune Police are consolidating records and handling the case according to legal regulations.
