DTO - On the morning of May 7, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism held the opening ceremony of the 2025 on-site tour guide training course. The class had more than 100 participants.

During 2 days (May 7 and 8, 2025), students were taught by Ms. Vo Thi Cam Nhung - Lecturer of Saigon College of Tourism about tour guide activities such as: basic knowledge about the tourism industry and the role of tour guides; communication skills in tourism; presentation skills, handling arising situations; process of building explanatory speeches on tourist routes and destinations...

The training course equips the staff with knowledge, professional skills, and expertise, improving the quality of tour guides and interpreters at relic sites, tourist areas and attractions in the province; promoting the role of each tour guide and interpreter in conveying and introducing the culture, history, cuisine and image of Dong Thap people to tourists.
