More than 16,500 people received pensions and social insurance benefits before the holiday.

From April 25 to now, the provincial Social Insurance has paid pensions and social insurance benefits for the May 2025 payment period to 16,567 beneficiaries in the whole province with an amount of nearly 119 billion VND, in order to create conditions for people and workers to happily celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025).

Previously, the Prime Minister issued a telegram on the payment of pensions and social insurance benefits for May 2025 to beneficiaries. The provincial Social Insurance Department directed functional departments to urgently review, resolve and pay social insurance and unemployment insurance benefits to beneficiaries in a complete manner, in accordance with regulations, to the right subjects and earlier than the usual schedule. Specifically, payment will be made via personal accounts on April 25, 2025 and in cash from April 25-28, 2025.

The early payment of pensions and social insurance benefits this time demonstrates the deep concern of the Party and State for pensioners and social insurance beneficiaries, while ensuring good implementation of social security policies.
